Kinross College was originally built on the now redundant ‘open community’ style of teaching and now requires the refurbishment of vast open spaces into discrete yet flexible classrooms suitable for today’s learning environments.
In addressing the brief, Hodge Collard Preston saw opportunity to provide new spaces with a sophisticated vibrancy that was lacking at the College. This is represented in the internal fit outs of 24 new classrooms, the extension of the Design and Technology workshops and new Student Services and Food Science buildings. The diverse new and refurbished areas will combine to refresh the entire school for the opening of the 2017 school year.
