The shopping centre is located at the corner of Armadale and Eighth Roads in Armadale. The site was originally a horse training facility, which had local historical significance.
The brief was to provide a fresh and distinctive retail experience to attract customers from the expanding residential areas on the western outskirts of the city centre of Armadale.
The building design incorporates highly detailed facades to the main street frontages, including tower features using horizontal trims and a number of feature steelwork elements. Varied types of signage panels provide another layer of treatment for these elevations.
The level of quality and detailing is higher than one would expect in a neighbourhood shopping centre of this scale. This should ensure the shopping centre is a quality shopping experience for years to come.
The completed shopping centre now provides a variety of shops in 15 tenancies including Coles, a chemist and a newsagent, as well as national tenants including Jetts Fitness, Pizza Hut, Bakers Delight and Subway. There is also office space for local real estate agents.
