Banksia Grove Childcare

Hodge Collard Preston have been commissioned to design, document and contract administer the new Banksia Grove Childcare building for 100 children of ranging in age from 0 – 5 years old by Arise Development for Mercy Care. The project also includes a multi-purpose space on Level 1.

Part of our scope included developed of the project design brief for Mercy Care at the start of the project to ensure all of the client’s requirement are captured and in line with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and WAPC Planning Bulletin 72 / 2009 Child Care Centres. With the awareness of the building cost, we have successfully condensed the spaces within the assigned building area without compromising the operation, function and compliance requirements of the spaces.

Multiple sessions of liaising, consulting the end users and understanding their current challenges has made this project a good benchmark for Mercy Care Child Care building.
